The three-day Interaction was organized in collaboration with UNESCO, New Delhi and INTACH, Varanasi.
Coordinated by Prof. Rana P. B. Singh and Shri Navneet Raman.
The discussions aimed at looking at the prospects of declaring Varanasi as the 'Heritage City', in which thirteen dignitaries from India and abroad participated.
The four-day exhibition was organized in collaboration with the India International Centre in New Delhi.
Inaugurated by Prof. M. G. K. Menon, President, India International Centre, New Delhi in the presence of art connoisseurs like Dr. Kapila Vatsyayan, Dr. L. M. Singhvi, Shri Suresh Neotia and others.
The original antiquities and the works of present-day artists, including demonstrations on Varanasi textiles and jewellery, were projected. The ghats, temples, sculptures, terracottas, paintings, religious and secular buildings representing mini-India, and fairs and festivals, lilas, musicians, orientalists and other aspects of Kashi were projected through photographs. In addition, special attraction was the typical Banarasi recipe prepared by the cooks of Varanasi.

The book Indian Art Treasures - Suresh Neotia Collection was released by the Chief Guest Prof. S. S. Kushwaha, Vice-Chancellor, Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth, Varanasi.
The editors Prof. Anjan Chakraverty and Prof. Kamal Giri were felicitated on the occasion.
